Two Become One

Prayer Lord, knit our hearts. Knit our minds. Knit our spirits. Make us truly one as You and the Father are one. Amen.

Day 3

Submission Is Mutual

Ephesians 5:21

Today's Reading Before Paul ever told wives to submit, he said "submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God." Submission is not gendered tyranny — it is the air every healthy marriage breathes.

Prayer Lord, soften both of our hearts. Let us serve one another as we serve You. Amen.

Day 4

A Husband's Love

Ephesians 5:25-29

Today's Reading Husbands are commanded to love as Christ loved the church. That is sacrificial, sanctifying, nourishing, cherishing love. It is not a feeling — it is a calling.

Prayer Lord Jesus, teach me to love as You love. Sacrificially. Patiently. Persistently. Amen.

Day 5

A Wife's Honor

Ephesians 5:22-24

The Power of Words

Proverbs 18:21 / Ephesians 4:29

Today's Reading In marriage, words build cathedrals or bombs. Today, audit how you speak to and about your spouse. Replace one habitual cutting word with a building one.

Prayer Lord, set a guard over my mouth. Let nothing rotten leave my lips toward the one I covenant with. Amen.

Day 7

Forgive As You Are Forgiven

Colossians 3:13

Today's Reading Unforgiveness is the rust that eats marriages. Today, release every list. The grace you withhold is the grace you forfeit. Forgive — completely.

Guard Against the Foxes

Today's Reading "Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines." Big things rarely destroy marriages overnight; small ones rot them slowly. Identify the foxes. Trap them.

Prayer Lord, expose the small foxes in our garden. Help us catch them before they multiply. Amen.

Honor One Another

Romans 12:10

Today's Reading "In honour preferring one another." Honor is the oxygen of marriage. To honor is to assign weight. Today, weigh your spouse heavy.

Day 11

Sex As Worship

1 Corinthians 7:3-5

A Threefold Cord
